Customer journey toolkit live!


The Data & Development Lab launches the customer journey toolkit. "The toolkit gives tourism companies insight into how you can best measure the customer journey of holidaymakers," said Marieke Politiek, manager Intell & Insights at NBTC.“ In this way, we provide insight into the measurability of the touchpoints of holidaymakers before, during and after a holiday. Examples of touchpoints are the contact moments during the search and booking behaviour.”

Sustainable development of the Netherlands

The toolkit is a project within the Data & Development Lab, a collaboration between NBTC, CBS & CELTH. Under the guidance of Stefan Hartman (CELTH), students of NHL Stenden have collected all possible touchpoints. The overview aims to further professionalise the hospitality sector and to ensure sustainable (continued) development of the Netherlands.

With the Data & Development Lab, CBS, NBTC and CELTH collect data and knowledge to gain faster and continuous insight into national and international visitor flows quicker and more continuously. Within the platform, parties make use of both existing and new data sources and techniques to obtain current insights that can contribute to the development of the Netherlands.
