Organisational change in the travel industry: an employee perspective

Doctoral candidate Annemiek van der Schaft is carrying out research among managers and employees in the travel industry. She is aiming to provide an insight into what they are experiencing in the process of technological innovation in the workplace, which particular moments matter, and how employees form their own change strategies and responses. In the future, the agility of organisations and the sustainable employability of employees within the sector needs to be strengthened.

This doctoral research project was initiated with our help. We are also supporting two other doctoral research projects aimed at obtaining new insights into outbound tourism: dealing with social media trends in tourism and CSR as a driver of innovative capacity in the travel sector.

This doctoral research project is currently in development.
