Living Labs are initiatives to bring education, entrepreneurs and governments together in a triple-helix context. Their aim is to design effective coalitions to strengthen the industry. Together with Tourism Alliance Fryslân (TAF), European Tourism Futures Institute and HZ University of Applied Sciences we analysed 27 living labs in the Netherlands with the main focus on their similarities and differences.
We discovered opportunities and threats for the upscaling of existing living labs. As a result, possibility of knowledge exchange has been established as well as the high probability of applying such living lab initiatives more and more within the education in the future.
