CSR as a driver of innovative capacity in the travel sector

Doctoral candidate Harald Buijtendijk has found that sustainability is becoming increasingly important and that the travel industry is raising its game on CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility). But how does CSR affect innovation in the sector? He is studying the development of CARMACAL and its influence on the business processes of tourism organisations. This is an IT application which can be used to accurately identify the carbon footprint of travel products.
