Comparison tools for visitor management

Up-to-date insight into visitor numbers to specific places has been desirable for a long time. Partly as a result of the corona measures, such as ‘avoid crowds’, visitor management was given even more priority. Therefore, several pressure monitors have been launched in recent months. This project provides an objective comparison of these instruments with the aim of helping to make a choice. Mainly aimed at cities and regions that want to use or (further) develop such a tool.

What are the similarities and differences between numerous pressure monitors? What exactly do they measure and where does the data come from? What are they suitable for and what advantages and disadvantages does each instrument have? View the comparison of visitor management tools.

The project is part of the Data & Development Lab in which CELTH cooperates with NBTC and CBS.
