Working together for a successful hospitality sector

The hospitality sector faces significant opportunities and challenges. To address these, employer organisations, educational institutions, employee organisations and other partners have joined forces in the Hospitality Pact. CELTH is an active partner in the Hospitality Pact on behalf of knowledge institutions and higher education.

In the 2025 annual plan, we outline how we are working together to create a future-proof and attractive hospitality sector. CELTH, with Lobke Elbers and Anke Arts, is the driving force behind the ‘Research & Innovation’ working group. In 2025, we will be working on updating and further developing the Hospitality Sector Labour Market Monitor, launching a pilot for the Labour Quality Monitor and promoting structural knowledge sharing on labour market challenges.

With a focus on research and innovation, social policy, education policy and labour market branding, the working groups of the Hospitality Pact are taking concrete steps. This includes updating the labour market monitor, developing sectoral development paths, improving cooperation on social policy, and strengthening the visibility of the sector through campaigns such as @Ontdek Hospitality.
