CELTH is the action holder of several actions from the revised action agenda of Perspective Destination Netherlands 2030. We are responsible for drawing up the Sustainability Research Agenda and research into instruments to enable governments to better manage the leisure offer. The revised Action Agenda contains actions to assist the hospitality sector in a sustainable recovery to a future-proof sector. The actions are grouped around five pillars from the 2030 Perspective:
- Pillar 1 Benefits and burdens in balance
- Pillar 2 Netherlands attractive everywhere
- Pillar 3 Accessible and reachable
- Pillar 4 More sustainability is a must
- Pillar 5 Hospitality sector
Why a revised Action Agenda?
The COVID-19 crisis has enormous consequences for the sector and raises questions such as how do we ensure a sustainable recovery? And how do we see the future of the hospitality sector? That is why the Taskforce Cooperation in the Hospitality Sector has requested a reassessment of the Action Agenda. Due to this request and the wish to increase support, the sector, local authorities, industry associations and knowledge institutions are also involved in the reassessment.
