Menno Stokman new Director CELTH

2989-0f8afaedb08bbd356402f1ca202209f2Thursday 20 July 2017 The new Director of the Centre of Expertise Leisure Tourism & Hospitality (CELTH) is Menno Stokman (41). He takes over the tasks of Hans Dominicus (67), he has helped set up the first three and a half years this co-operation of colleges, universities and the market in the area of the leisure economy.
CELTH, where market and education work together to speed up the innovation in the hospitality industry, now owns a robust basis for further building. Menno Stokman has a comprehensive experience in the leisure sector and previously worked at NBTC, RECRON, various consulting firms and in recent years for operator Optisport, where he was responsible for the membership of the Belgian leisure market. Academia and practice unique together during annual Congress European Cities Marketing

Logo CELTH kaalMonday 12 June 2017 From 31 May till 3 June, European Cities Marketing (ECM), the leading network of larger tourism city destinations, held their annual conference in Dubrovnik. This year the theme was DistURBANce in travel. Particularly interesting this year was that the conference included an academic track, initiated by CELTH, the European Tourism Futures Institute and MODUL University. The goal was to bring together academics and practitioners in order to create added value for both. For CELTH Ko Koens of NHTV, Albert Postma of Stenden/ETFI were actively involved in making this track possible, as coordinators for the academic efforts, in close cooperation with the ECM head office.
