Academia and practice unique together during annual Congress European Cities Marketing

Logo CELTH kaalMonday 12 June 2017 From 31 May till 3 June, European Cities Marketing (ECM), the leading network of larger tourism city destinations, held their annual conference in Dubrovnik. This year the theme was DistURBANce in travel. Particularly interesting this year was that the conference included an academic track, initiated by CELTH, the European Tourism Futures Institute and MODUL University. The goal was to bring together academics and practitioners in order to create added value for both. For CELTH Ko Koens of NHTV, Albert Postma of Stenden/ETFI were actively involved in making this track possible, as coordinators for the academic efforts, in close cooperation with the ECM head office.
